Fees and Policies

• FEES: range from $25 per half hour lesson and up, depending on the teacher.  It is advised to contact the teacher for any clarification.
 
• PAYMENT: is made at the first lesson of each month for that month either in cash or check (made out to the individual teacher).
 
• REFUNDS AND CREDITS:  like any school tuition, lessons missed due to absence are not refundable nor can be used as credit for the following month.
 
• MAKE-UP LESSONS:  with twenty-four hours notice, lessons missed due to illness or unexpected business trips can be made up on the Saturday or Sunday following the missed lesson, depending on available time in the teacher’s schedule.
 
• TEACHING HOURS: dependent on the individual teacher.
 
• STUDENT RECITAL FEE:  $15 per concert for each performer, payable to the individual teacher.
 
• MEMORY vs MUSIC: solo pieces must be by memory; if you play a duet you may use music.
 
• WHAT TO WEAR: dress nicely, you will be on stage and the star of the concert when you play.
 
• ATTENDANCE: if you play you and your guest are required to stay for the entire concert; it isn't fair to disrupt the other performers by leaving early.
